TSANKO LAVRENOV

Tsanko Lavrenov was born in Plovdiv on November 24 in 1896.
1907 - 1916 he studied in French Lyceum /college/ in Plovdiv;
1912 - 1922 he attended private school "St. Anna" in Viena with Prof. Berthold Lyofler;
His most considerable works are: "Old Town", "Hisar Kapiya", "A small night music", cycle of Mount Athos monasteries "Through visions from ancient Bulgaria".
As an art critic investigator he was an author of monographs for Bulgarian artist. He had his own expositions in Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Berlin, Moscow.
He died on December 16 in 1978 in Sofia.
